I went to work today. For more than one reason. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow, problems with my root canal/crown still so instead of working a bit and then going for tooth torture and then going back to work, I went today. Another reason - I have some goodies being delivered tomorrow and I want to be here for them. I think that's pretty big of me to admit I have a problem and am rearranging my life for it.
Linus got a new mat for his crate yesterday and low and behold slept the whole night. It was either the comfy digs or maybe he saw me fretting over his layout and cursing him while I did it and he felt bad. Either way works for me.
We watched The Great Escape last night, actually Kerry watched the beginning and fell asleep. I watched the whole thing. And as with the movie 300, I had no idea this one was based on a true story. So at the end when the stuff happens and the bad guys do that stuff to the good guys, I'm like "what the?" what kind of movie is this and then the credits roll and it says "Dedicated to..." I'm like "ohhh, darn, I wish someone would prepare me for this kind of stuff". It was an oldie but a goodie.
I foolishly played Solitaire on my ipod for most of the movie and now have carpal tunnel syndrome. Remind me never, ever to go to the casino.
