10,000 Hits!

Okay, I know about 3000 hits are from me, and about that many are from Tara, but the rest...I know aren't from Kerry. I know this because last night as I was diligently working on my swaps for Tuesday and packing for my weekend get-away he saw my Big Shot. All this time I thought he didn't really pay attention to what I had in my room, but he knew this was new. He asked when I got it, I told him we had had a discussion about it when he was almost asleep and I kept telling him to wake up. I told him it was a good business purchase, he didn't seem to mind. Then he asked how much it cost (after declaring that it was sturdier than my Accucut machine that I sold), and I told him $118. He looked thoughtful for about 2 seconds and then said "What can I buy for $118 for my bike?" and then left.

He did seem mildly impressed by the stuff I had embossed with the BS. (that's Big Shot, not bull$hit)

So in honour of hitting 10,000 hits I will do a draw tomorrow, Tuesday, for some goodies. Just leave a comment and tell me this...if you had to count up all your scrapbooking supplies and total the amount of 'inventory' what is the number, the dollar amount, you would have to put on your insurance forms?

Don't worry, I'm sure your spouses don't read my blog.

Ok, since I read your blog every day and feel like I have had a part in you getting to 10,000 hits, I will actually admit to probably $3500 in scrapbooking supplies - including albums and my stamps. But I have spent way more than that over the 5 years that I have been scrapbooking. Yikes! Especially when most of it is gathering dust! Congrats on the 10,000 hits!

Oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start probably around $7000 or $8000...maybe even more. Kind of scary actually!

That's a scary thought!!! What about the freebees....do I have to count them??? Regardless...I think if I added everything up including the many scrapbook bags I just had to have and now no longer use.....probably in the $10,000.00 range! And you're right DH does not look here...he doesn't even look at his own family's blog!

I can't think about this too hard b/c I'll either have a heart attack or start crying :)

Basically tho, I have spent about $100-200/mth for the last five years. I don't want to do the math.

Congrats on your 10,000 hits!! Now this question is almost like...how much is your house??? :)
Does this include gas money and paying myself to shop for it? Ok I'm going to have to say between 8,000 to 10,000. I'm sure it is over 10,000 but that would sound really bad. Thanks for a chance.

Let me 1st start out saying I love your blog. Now the answer to your question- I was thinking about this the other night and started getting a headache trying to add it all up. I think I came up with between $7,000 -$10,000. Whats really bad is I need more things. Congrats on 10,000 hits :)

Let's just say I could buy a pretty nice car for the amount of money I have spent on my equipment and supplies.

Congrats on 10,000 hits! Too funny about your dh and the *BS*! There's no way I'm putting a $$ figure on my supplies, are you crazy?! My dh might google my name or search for all my comments someday and see it! And like my mom tells my dad and taught me to say, "We'll both be happier if you don't know." hee! hee!

Congrats on the hits! I love your blog and have you in my google reader so I never miss anything!
I've just started papercrafts this year in April (been too busy studying before that!) but I know that I've already spent about $4,000!!! But the way I look at it, I have about $20,000+ worth of books, so that doesn't seem too bad at all :)

Oh man, I'd have to say at least $5000 for insurance. That got me to thinking that I should photograph my stuff just in case. Thanks !

I would think $5000 at a minimum, just adding up stamps and machines alone! Is that awful....of course not, it's my sanity!

Congrats on the 10,000 hits! I can't even imagine how much I have in inventory right now.. not to even mention how much I have totally spent on crafts over the years. I am so sorry you even made me think about it! :0) A few thousand dollars, anyway.

Wow, I'd have to say about $8500 and that's probably being conservative. That's almost a new room addition - yikes! But then I'd have nothing to put IN said addition, so I won't worry about it too much.

I have been stamping for over 15 years, and have much to show for it. Supply wise that is! I have actually figured out my cost in supplies in the past, at my husbands urging. I never did tell him the $, and never will. Lets just say, I could probably have a pretty luxurious car, if I would have saved and spent my money differently. You know what though, it would probably be wore out by now too, and that's not the case with my supplies and hobby.

Well, I think my cards cost about $250 each to make--probably have about $8000 worth of everything in my craft room---could be less or more, maybe a lot more.

I just put your blog on my Google REader, you are so funny and such cute cards. I have been stamping for 2 years and probably spend $100 a month , but I was scrapbooking before that and had some supplies, so maybe close to $2700
